I really dont understand why people put up personal information about what they did with their friends, how they enjoyed a trip, putting up pics of their friends or writing some nonsensical selfmade proverbs...
Blogging may mean just writing... but what you write must be worth reading... people should want to come back to you blog to argue against your stand or agree with your reasoning not to know about what you did last sunday...
You may argue that your blog is your own personal space to put up anything you want but in my opinion a good blog should give you something to think about ... something to comment on ... something worth a read!

Believe it or not, most of the comments are on the personal topics! A good blog is a good blog, personal or not. Its just that an impersonal blog has a lot more chance to get wide readership than a 'cat' blog.

But then, if you don't put up a post in a long time( which has to worth reading, as you say), then either you don't have the time, or you're not creative enough.
that was a bit of a tricky post heh. while it doesnt actly do anythng ur 'ideal' blog shld do, u still recieve 17 comments so its obvsly made ppl think! lol..i agree ppl posting their mundane lives online as blogs bores the shit out of me. then agen blogs dont have to be nayhting at all. for me its more therapy than anythng. its a much needed release from the shittiness of life, helps confront things i cnt really stand up to in real life. escapism? yes. helping? hell yes. so alls fair.
